With What's Left

I've been writing more poetry than music. Sometimes, the poems turn into songs. This piece started as a reflection after my friend Rocky Chase Anderson passed away (missing you!), we played lots of music together in Denver with Old Wooden Ship. Now, with the pandemic in play and with inspiration from SPARK Artist Resource Exchange to produce work for the At Home Arts Show, the poem became a song. I recorded the ukulele, viola, and vocals at my dining room table in Salina, KS.
